The object of this society is to preserve and perpetuate the history of Freetown, Massachusetts and its surrounding geographical areas.

The Freetown Historical Society is dedicated to preserving the history of Freetown and the surrounding communities for future generations to enjoy.

We are a private 501c3 organization.  All of our funding is made possible through the Grimshaw-Gudewicz Charitable Foundation and the generosity of our members.
